Is it the end of Ted's time in the Premier League?

With just 5 episodes left of Ted Lasso season 3 and plenty of plotlines to tie up, what does the season finale hold for the US coach and the London club?

Here are 5 predictions for how the season 3 of the show will end:

Ted finds love

While it may seem most likely that Ted will end up with Sassy, there's always a chance that he and Rebecca will get together. Ok, so Rebecca has been told to steer clear of 'nice' Ted. But there's definitely chemistry between the two. And who knows, we might even discover the psychic was right and Rebecca will have a family.

Maybe her, Ted and Henry? Or kids of their own.

Nate learns to respect Ted

It could happen. Deep down, Nate must respect Ted. He just hasn't yet been able to admit it to himself, let alone the rest of the world. Of course, for Nate to publicly (or even privately) tell Ted he admires him, Richmond will surely have to do something a bit special.

Total football works

They're not exactly going to shoot up the table and win the Premier League, but could Richmond win the hearts of the footballing world with a thrilling end to the season? Maybe Ted Lasso will go down in history alongside the likes of Pep Guardiola.

And perhaps, Ted's team will at least have a say in where the title goes at the end of the season with a big win against one of West Ham's rivals handing Nate the trophy.

Trent's book makes waves

This story has to be going somewhere. But exactly what makes it into the book – and how it's received by the public at large – is very much still up for debate. As is the impact it will have on the club and the individuals mentioned in it. One way or the other, though, it's bound to get people talking.

Ted leaves Richmond

This would almost certainly indicate the end of the show – although if the real Premier League is anything to go by, he could simply walk back in as interim manager for the start of the new season. But even if the man leaves the club, his legacy will remain.
