Winx Club: The Magic Is Back returns in 2026 with Season 1 Part 2, as the CGI reboot reunites fan-favorite fairies and follows 16-year-old Earth girl Bloom into a new chapter of magic.

Winx fans, good news: the reboot is not stopping at 13 episodes. 'Winx Club: The Magic Is Back' is set to return with Season 1 Part 2 in 2026, and we finally have a decent picture of when and how it rolls out. If you missed it, the CGI revival dropped on BBC iPlayer earlier this year and then hit Netflix on October 2, 2025. Here is what to expect, where to watch, and a quick refresher on what Part 1 actually covered.

Release timing and episode count

Creator Iginio Straffi is keeping the comeback going with another 13 episodes in Part 2, which will complete a 26-episode first season. That is straight from industry chatter reported by Total Licensing. The plan, per YouLoveIt.com, is spring 2026, somewhere in the March–June window. Expect the new batch to land on BBC iPlayer first, with Netflix streaming the episodes shortly after that initial UK drop.

What the reboot is

'The Magic Is Back' follows 16-year-old Bloom, a girl from Earth who discovers her powers and enrolls at Alfea. And yes, this version calls it a school for fairies and witches, which longtime fans will clock as a tweak. At Alfea, Bloom meets Stella, Flora, Tecna, Musa, and Aisha. They form the Winx Club and take on dark magical forces. It is classic Winx energy, just run through a modern CGI filter.

Part 1 recap: the setup so far

Part 1 opens with Bloom discovering her magic on her birthday after a nasty encounter with a creature from another world. Stella and Flora step in, bring her to Alfea, and Bloom starts training while digging into the mystery of her past. Between exams and cursed detours, the group runs into the Trix and a heavy-hitter named Vexius. The big reveal: Bloom carries the Dragon Flame, a legendary power that could save everyone or blow everything up depending on how it is handled.

Where to watch

Season 1 Part 1 premiered on BBC iPlayer, then went to Netflix on October 2, 2025. Part 2 is expected to repeat that pattern: first BBC iPlayer in spring 2026, then Netflix shortly after. If you want to catch up now, 'Winx Club: The Magic Is Back' is currently streaming on Netflix.
