Luckily, the mastermind behind Peaky Blinders has just confirmed that the show's star will be reprising his role in the film.

What to Expect from the Peaky Blinders Movie?

Back in 2022, Steven Knight said that the movie would have a completely different look from the show, as that particular story was coming to an end. According to the Peaky Blinders creator, the movie would be set during World War II and would continue to follow the Shelby family under the new circumstances. But the story won't be Tommy-centric anymore, with the new generation of characters playing a prominent role in the plot.

'In series six we're bringing in the new generation, and they are going to be part of what happens in the film. I think it's finding those actors that you just watch and you think, there you go. There's the future,' Knight added.

The release date for the Peaky Blinders movie is currently unknown, but it's said that filming will begin in September at Digbeth Loc Studios.
