In this sense, Disney's most popular musical sitcom of the late 2000s, Hannah Montana, is perfect for a reboot. The show, which revolves around a fictionalized version of Miley Cyrus and her artistic alter ego Hannah Montana, was a huge hit during its run. It enjoyed four seasons on the air, as well as a movie adaptation. Most importantly, the show launched Miley Cyrus' career. Now that the singer has won her first Grammy, another Hannah Montana star has weighed in on a potential reboot of the fan-favorite show.
Emily Osment Is Oblivious to Any Plans to Reboot Hannah Montana

Although the show centered on Miley Cyrus and her celebrity alter ego, she wasn't the only star of the sitcom. Miley's fictional friends and family also played an important role in the show. For example, Emily Osment, who currently stars as Mandy on Young Sheldon, played Miley's fictional best friend Lilly Truscott. Naturally, she is expected to reprise her role in the reboot. But apparently the actress is unsure.
'I don't know if my knees can take another five years of a sitcom. I don't know. I think I'm too old now. I love those guys. I just talked to Mitchell [Musso] yesterday, actually. We all still stay in contact. And I'm so proud of her [Miley Cyrus for winning her Record of the Year Grammy]. Who knows? I don't know. We're busy, okay?' Emily Osment recently commented on the possibility of reprising her iconic role in a Hannah Montana reboot.
Emily Osment in the TBBT Franchise
Since her debut on Young Sheldon in Season 5, Emily Osment's Mandy has become one of the show's ultimate fan favorites. The mother of Georgie's baby and soon-to-be his first wife has grown on the audience over the years. So much so that her and Georgie's arc is the most followed storyline on the sitcom.
It's also been announced that after Young Sheldon wraps this spring, Mandy and Georgie will find a new home on another TBBT spin-off that will further explore their relationship after Sheldon's departure for California. With that in mind, it's unlikely that Emily Osment will have time for a Hannah Montana reboot.
Season 7 of Young Sheldon is set to premiere this week, February 15.
