Pitch Perfect buzz is hitting a high note: Brittany Snow says a fourth film is genuinely in play, offering the most encouraging update yet on the Bellas’ return.

Quick update for my fellow Bellas-watchers: Brittany Snow says the door to Pitch Perfect 4 is not just open, it might have a welcome mat.

The update

At the premiere of her upcoming Netflix feature The Beast in Me, the Guiding Light alum (and all-around Barden OG) told Entertainment Tonight she feels good about the odds of a fourth Pitch Perfect movie happening. She even joked about not knowing how old they would be by then or what the story would look like, but she still sounded confident.

'I think Pitch Perfect 4 might happen one day... I'm not sure how old we would be or what the storyline would be, but I think it'll happen.'

A possible new voice in the mix

Snow also floated a fun bit of casting: her The Hunting Wives co-star Katie Lowes. According to Snow, getting Lowes onboard is 'very, very possible,' and she even joked that Elizabeth Banks could get her on the phone to make it happen.

Rebel and Camp have been warming it up, too

This follows recent comments from Rebel Wilson and Anna Camp. While promoting her film Bride Hard, Wilson said she ran into Pitch Perfect writer Kay Cannon and that they have been talking about a fourth movie. She made it sound close, but stressed that nothing is set in stone yet. Camp, for her part, said she would happily return and is curious where the characters would be now.

Where things stand (and what's next)

  • No official announcement yet, but Brittany Snow (39) is optimistic a fourth movie will happen.
  • Rebel Wilson says she and original writer Kay Cannon have been talking about it; it feels close, but nothing definitive.
  • Anna Camp is in if it happens.
  • Snow is game to bring in Katie Lowes, and joked Elizabeth Banks could help make that call.
  • Meanwhile, Snow will be back for The Hunting Wives Season 2 with Lowes. Netflix hasn't set a release date, but Snow says filming starts next week and runs until April 2026 — yes, that April 2026, which is a surprisingly long shoot.

Bottom line: there's real momentum, just no greenlight yet. And with Snow about to be tied up on The Hunting Wives for a while, any aca-action might take a minute. Still, the chatter is loud enough that I wouldn't bet against it.
