Jack Doherty’s latest viral moment isn’t a flip — it’s a Florida arrest. The 22-year-old YouTuber known for stunts and trolling is back under fire as his provocation-fueled brand collides with real-world consequences.

Jack Doherty is back in the headlines, and not for a new prank. The 22-year-old YouTuber who built a career on flipping objects, trolling strangers, and generally daring people to get mad at him just got arrested in Florida. If that sentence makes total sense to you, you probably know his whole deal. If not, here is the quick history that led to this latest mess, then what actually went down in Miami Beach.

How Jack Doherty went from flips to full-time chaos

Doherty started out with simple flipping videos. They did numbers, the following ballooned across platforms, and the pranks escalated right alongside it. What began as harmless turned into 'please do not do that' pretty fast. One early viral moment was a straightforward Halloween prank. After that, disrupting public spaces basically became the brand.

  • Early Walmart phase: walking into stores, singing over the intercom, even shutting off power in aisles. The point was to get a reaction, and he did.
  • Street harassment era: hassling random people on sidewalks, then ducking behind his bodyguards when anyone pushed back. The shock value kept getting cranked up, and so did the risk to everyone involved.
  • Ninja drama: he spam-donated money with annoying messages trying to bait the streamer on-air. Ninja refunded it and blocked him. Doherty fired back with an 'exposed' video claiming Ninja
    'only cared about money'
Then he tried to troll Ninja again during a charity stream, which went over exactly how you think it did.
  • Zoom-bombing investigation: he got tied up in an FBI probe into school classes being disrupted on Zoom, allegedly alongside another juvenile.
  • More run-ins: he was arrested after staging a bit where he acted drunk in front of police and filmed it, and he also took his older brother's car for a joyride, which sparked more backlash.
  • Dr. Phil appearance: went on the show and was openly disrespectful, which pretty much cemented his 'internet troublemaker' label.
  • The flex era: constant money talk, then launching his own OnlyFans while also managing OF models.

The Florida arrest

Doherty was arrested outside a smoke shop in Miami Beach. Police allegedly charged him with possession of two stimulants and with resisting arrest. According to TMZ, he was reportedly carrying amphetamine - a controlled medication commonly prescribed for ADHD - and marijuana. A video of the arrest shows him arguing with officers.

His bond was set at $3,500, and as of the latest update, he had not paid it.

So what now?

Doherty's career has been one long escalation, and the Florida arrest is the newest line item on a very crowded list. Whether this slows him down or just fuels the next wave of chaotic content is the question.
