Morton plays sarcastic Desk Sergeant Trudy Platt-McHolland. The actress is known for her roles in theater, procedural dramas, and the 2013 indie film Bluebird.

On April 10, NBC announced Chicago P.D. was renewed for an eleventh season, which means fans will enjoy more of the characters' stories and the cast will continue to rake in more money from their roles. The next season is expected to premiere this fall.
