Who's Left on The Masked Singer Season 9? Just 4 Contestants Still Unmasked
From veterans to newbies – these four are keeping us on our toes!
As the mysterious singing contest draws closer to its conclusion, fewer and fewer disguised celebrities remain on the show. In fact, only four 'masked' contestants will appear in the last two episodes of The Masked Singer.
Naturally, it's intriguing to review what we already know about these characters.
-
California Roll
The victors of the battle in Episode 3, this quintet's presence on the show has remained unchallenged since. During their run on The Masked Singer, the band has performed songs like Paparazzi by Lady Gaga, Uptown Girl by Billy Joel, and Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler.
-
Medusa
This contestant's journey has been filled with obstacles since Episode 1. Presumably a female, she had to participate in battles during the first three episodes. In Episode 3, she was defeated by California Roll but was saved by the judges.
Her presence was again questioned in the recent eleventh episode when Medusa battled Gargoyle and emerged victorious, securing a place in The Masked Singer quarter-finals. She has sung Happier Than Ever by Billie Eilish, Diamonds by Rihanna, Dancing Queen and The Winner Takes It All by ABBA, New York, New York by F. Sinatra, Uptown Girl by Billy Joel, Mercy by Shawn Mendes, and Centuries by Fall Out Boy.
-
Macaw
Making their first appearance in Episode 6, this contestant fought with Fairy for a place on the show. Presumably male, they performed Live Like You Were Dying by Tim McGraw and That Don't Impress Me Much by Shania Twain in that episode.
Macaw's only other appearance on The Masked Singer was in Episode 10, singing Ed Sheeran's Photograph.
-
UFO
The latest to join The Masked Singer, this contestant appeared in Episode 9, performing Yellow by Coldplay and battling Lamp over a place on the show with a rendition of Elton John's Rocket Man. UFO's next performance was in Episode 10, alongside California Roll and Macaw, singing Stargazing by Kygo.
While these contestants have followed very different routes to the show's final episodes, they make this competition mesmerising to watch.
The Masked Singer’s next episode airs on FOX on 3 May.
