The White Lotus star Sydney Sweeney tried to recruit creator Mike White as her partner on The Amazing Race — and he already had an answer. After multiple collaborations, the duo is playfully eyeing a leap from prestige TV to globe-trotting reality.

File this under TV stuff I did not have on my bingo card: Sydney Sweeney wants to run The Amazing Race with The White Lotus creator Mike White. And he sounds very ready to grab a backpack and sprint through an airport.

The pitch: Sweeney + White on The Amazing Race

In a recent chat with Variety, White said Sweeney floated the idea that they team up for the reality competition show. After spending time with her, he says he caught some of her competitive energy and, yeah, he thinks they would be a problem for the other teams.

"I would definitely win with her. She's the master at getting what she wants. And I mean that in an absolutely good way."

That confidence is not coming out of nowhere. White has already been on The Amazing Race twice, in seasons 14 and 18, racing with his father. So this would not be a tourist run for him. Honestly, I would watch that chaos.

How they linked up

White met Sweeney on The White Lotus Season 1, when he cast her as Olivia. That first season drew a lot of praise and helped launch Sweeney into the current everywhere-all-the-time phase of her career. On top of Lotus, she stars as Cassie Howard on HBO's Euphoria. The two have been connected on more than one project, and now they are joking about trying a completely different lane together.

Could Olivia return to The White Lotus?

White has mused that, if the show runs long enough, a returning-characters, all-star-style twist could be fun. He would love to bring Sweeney back, but he told Variety that it might be tough to pay her current rate and, as of now, it does not look likely.

Bonus rumor: Sweeney and Bond

There are also whispers about Sweeney being in the mix for a Bond Girl role. Nothing concrete on that, but she did say she is a huge fan of the franchise and is excited and curious to see what they do with it.

So, where does that leave us? A potential Amazing Race team-up is just talk for now, but given White's reality TV chops and Sweeney's competitive streak, if they ever actually do it, do not bet against them.
