Which Celebrity Are The Traitors Season 3 Stars Betting On To Win The Spin-Off? Their Picks Might Shock You

The Traitors season 3 cast isn’t shy about playing favorites—find out which Celebrity Traitors contestant has them placing their bets and why the cast is so divided.
The Celebrity Traitors is finally landing next month, and the lineup is exactly the kind of chaotic fun this show thrives on. Even better, a few of the most recent players from the main series have already started calling their shots.
The basics
Earlier this year, the BBC rounded up 19 celebrities to play The Traitors for charity, with up to £100,000 on the table for the winner to gift to a cause of their choice. The roster is stacked: Stephen Fry, Celia Imrie, Niko Omilana, Cat Burns, Paloma Faith, Kate Garraway, and Tom Daley are all in the mix. That is not a normal collection of people to throw into a paranoia machine, which is exactly why this should be fun.
Who the recent players are backing
On the National Television Awards 2025 red carpet, some of this year’s winners and cast from the main series — Minah Shannon, Jake Brown, Leanne Quigley, and Charlotte Berman — talked up their picks for who could go far. A few highlights:
- Leanne Quigley is all in on Cat Burns, calling her a strategic thinker and pointing out that Burns was deeply engaged with season 3 — posting videos and chiming in while it aired.
- Minah Shannon is also backing Cat Burns, saying being a true fan of the show gives Burns a head start. Minah is additionally rooting for Paloma Faith no matter which side she draws: Faithful or Traitor.
- Jake Brown’s dark horse is Kate Garraway, leaning on her journalist instincts to ask clean, pointed questions — the kind of thing that keeps a Faithful alive.
- Charlotte Berman thinks Tom Daley could glide under the radar — something about those homemade knitted jumpers not exactly screaming master manipulator.
"I think Cat Burns will be a really good strategic game player... she was really invested in our season... so I think she'd be really good."
"I love her. I don't know if she's going to be a Faithful or a Traitor, but whatever she is, I'm backing."
"She'll be able to ask the right questions, I think she'll do well as a Faithful."
Tom Daley could be dangerous precisely because "no one would suspect him... because he's wearing his homemade knitted jumpers."
That Cat Burns detail is some nice inside baseball: she was loudly pro-Traitors during season 3, which means she has watched enough chaos to know what not to do — theoretically, anyway.
The BBC is promising a ride
Syeda Irtizaali, the BBC’s interim director of unscripted, is clearly not worried about star power watering down the gameplay. Her tease was blunt:
"Fans have nothing to worry about... Some of the things you'll see them doing are extraordinary."
When and where to watch
The Celebrity Traitors arrives next month, with the regular series also returning for a fourth season after that. If you want a refresher (or need to see what these alumni are talking about), seasons 1–3 are streaming now on BBC iPlayer.
