When Will 28 Years Later Be on Netflix? Here's What We Know

Danny Boyle and Alex Garland are back with 28 Years Later, the long-awaited third chapter in the Rage Virus saga.
It hit theaters on June 20 and is already killing it — $60 million worldwide and sitting pretty at 89% on Rotten Tomatoes.
The film follows a new character, Spike (Alfie Williams), a 12-year-old living on Lindisfarne with his parents (Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Jodie Comer). When he heads to the mainland — still crawling with infected — things go predictably sideways.
So, when can you watch it at home?
Right now, 28 Years Later is only in theaters. A premium VOD release will come first, but no date's been announced yet. After that, it's heading to Netflix, since Sony has a deal with them — but again, nothing official has been confirmed.
That said, based on recent Sony releases like Venom: The Last Dance (4 months to Netflix), Kraven the Hunter (3 months), and Saturday Night (4 months), you can expect 28 Years Later to hit streaming sometime in September or October.
No promises, but that's the window to keep an eye on. And until then, the only way to catch those Rage-filled horrors is on the big screen.
