When Is Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Part 2 Coming? Here’s What We Know So Far

Fans are counting the days for more Demon Slayer, but Part 2 of the Infinity Castle arc might not hit screens as soon as you’d hope—here’s the latest on possible release dates and rumors.
If you just watched the first Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle movie and you are already looking for Part 2, same. Here is where things stand, what is confirmed, and what is still in rumor territory.
What this movie actually is
'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Movie: Infinity Castle' is the first chapter of a planned trilogy adapting the manga's Infinity Castle arc. Consider it a direct follow-up to season 4 of the anime, just shifting the action to the big-screen format for the arc.
Release timing: the Part 2 waiting game
There is no official release date for Part 2 yet. The current chatter points to 2027 as the target. The plan making the rounds is basically a two-year cycle per sequel: Part 2 in 2027, Part 3 in 2029. That is a long gap, but if it really is a full two-year production runway each time, the animation quality should benefit. Now that the first Infinity Castle film is out around the world, I would expect some kind of update on timelines sooner rather than later. When the studio makes anything concrete, I will update this post.
How the first movie is performing and where it is playing
The opening film has been a monster hit in Japan, spending weeks at the top of the box office. In the UK, it is rolling out in cinemas from 12 September 2025. Globally, it is now reaching audiences, which is why the franchise roadmap chatter is heating up.
Who is likely returning for Part 2
Nobody has announced cast shake-ups, so it is safe to assume the core Japanese and English voice actors return unless something changes.
- Tanjiro Kamado - Natsuki Hanae / Zach Aguilar
- Nezuko Kamado - Akari Kito / Abby Trott
- Zenitsu Agatsuma - Hiro Shimono / Aleks Le
- Inosuke Hashibira - Yoshitsugu Matsuoka / Bryce Papenbrook
- Giyu Tomioka - Takahiro Sakurai / Johnny Yong Bosch
- Tengen Uzui - Katsuyuki Konishi / Ray Chase
- Shinobu Kocho - Saori Hayami / Erika Harlacher
- Mitsuri Kanroji - Kana Hanazawa / Kira Buckland
Trailer status
There is no trailer for Part 2 yet. Unless the team has been secretly deep into production, do not expect a full trailer anytime soon.
