• Marie turns out to be one of only two survivors of Thomas Godolkin’s Odessa Project, a set of experiments designed to forge 'super' Supes. The other survivor? Homelander.
• In the latest episode, Marie uses her blood-bending to heal a previously incapacitated Thomas Godolkin (Ethan Slater) — and accidentally helps the real puppetmaster. Godolkin has been controlling 'Cipher' from the shadows and is the one pushing to cull weaker Supes.

What Kripke is teasing beyond The Boys season 5

Kripke says there are plenty of stories left to tell with these characters, especially in the world that exists after The Boys season 5. He is clearly itching to toss the Gen V crew into that sandbox, where the rules are looser and the chaos is dialed up. Translation: if they get to keep going, expect bigger swings.
