The wait is over: Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 awakens tomorrow. See exactly when it unlocks in your region and sink your teeth into new Seattle by Night screenshots.

After more delays than a cursed flight, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 finally wakes up tomorrow. Here’s the when, where, and what you need to know so you can actually play it the second it goes live.

When it goes live

Global launch is simultaneous across all platforms. No early access, no region-hopping advantage. Everyone starts at the same time.

Paradox has the switch-flip set for October 21, 2025. The exact moment depends on where you live, but the launch is synchronized worldwide (so the usual New Zealand trick won’t help):

  • Los Angeles (PT): 9:00 AM
  • Chicago (CT): 11:00 AM
  • New York (ET): 12:00 PM
  • UTC: 4:00 PM
  • United Kingdom (BST): 5:00 PM
  • Central Europe (CEST): 6:00 PM

What you’re actually playing

Developed by The Chinese Room and published by Paradox Interactive alongside White Wolf, Bloodlines 2 drags us back to Seattle’s neon gloom, where vampire clans quietly knife-fight for control under the Masquerade. You play as Phyre, an ancient vampire nicknamed The Nomad, who wakes up after centuries on ice. You’ve also got Fabien in your head — a Malkavian detective whose voice is stuck in your mind — as you pull at a murder mystery that could blow up vampire society. It’s a first-person RPG, not a shooter with teeth.

Platforms, editions, and the little extras

The game launches on PC (Steam, Epic, GOG), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. No matter which edition you buy, there’s no early access at all — everyone hits the title screen at the same time.

Pre-ordering gets you the Bloodlines Nostalgia Jukebox, a Haven decoration that spins tracks by Rik Schaffer, the composer returning from the original game. Deluxe and Premium editions add cosmetic packs and future story expansions. There’s also a Premium SteelBook Edition floating around with some collector candy: spot gloss on the case and a debossed Bloodlines 2 logo plus Phyre’s symbol. No price details were attached in the promo, just the physical flourish.

PC footprint and requirements

The game runs on Unreal Engine 5, but it isn’t a storage hog: 30 GB on an SSD gets it done. Both The Chinese Room and Paradox encourage updating your GPU drivers before launch — always good advice on day one.

Minimum (1080p, 30 FPS, Low): Windows 10 64-bit; Intel Core i3-8350K or AMD Ryzen 3 3300X; 8 GB RAM; GPU: GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB / Radeon RX 480 8 GB / Intel Arc A580 (Resizable BAR on) / Radeon 780M; DirectX 12; 30 GB SSD.

Recommended (1080p, 60 FPS, High): Windows 11 64-bit; Intel Core i5-12600K or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X; 16 GB RAM; GPU: GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB / Radeon RX 6700 XT 12 GB; DirectX 12; 30 GB SSD. On paper, a mid-range rig should be comfortable at 1080p.

Steam Deck and OS support

Paradox says Bloodlines 2 is Steam Deck compatible. There’s no native Linux or macOS version at launch, though, so plan accordingly.

That’s the lay of the land. You jumping in on day one, or letting the Seattle nightlife settle for a patch or two?
