Buy a Red Bull, bag a Dog Tag: Battlefield 6 teams with Red Bull for Secure Your Loadout, a limited-time promo that lets players unlock a brand-new in-game Red Bull Dog Tag by purchasing Red Bull products at select stores.

Red Bull and Battlefield have a new cross-promo running called Secure Your Loadout. The hook is simple: buy a qualifying Red Bull at certain US retailers, verify it, and you score an exclusive Battlefield 6 Red Bull Dog Tag plus some bonus XP time. This is not a Challenge reward and it is not in the Battle Pass, so if you want the tag, this is the way.

What you actually have to do

You need a Battlefield 6 code that you only get by buying specific Red Bull singles from participating US stores and verifying your purchase. Then you redeem that code on EA's official code redemption site while signed into your EA account. Done right, the Dog Tag shows up on your account.

Where to buy and what qualifies (US only)

  • GameStop: Buy any 8.4 oz Red Bull single in-store.
  • Gopuff: Buy any 12 oz Red Bull Energy Drink single or Red Bull Sugarfree single through Gopuff.
  • QuikTrip: Buy any 12 oz Red Bull single in-store.
  • Military stores: Buy any Red Bull single at your local Commissary or Exchange (AAFES, CGX, Nexcom, MCX).

How the verification works

After you buy, look for the Battlefield poster or QR at the store and scan it to start the process. If you skip it there, you can do it later on the participating retailer's promo page. Either way, you will be asked to enter your phone number and submit your receipt. Once approved, you receive a Battlefield 6 code. Take that code to the official Battlefield code redemption site, sign into your EA account, redeem, and the Red Bull Dog Tag will be added to your account.

What you get (and how much)

The code unlocks two things:

— The exclusive Red Bull Dog Tag in Battlefield 6.

— A free 60-minute Hardware 2XP boost.

You can only claim the Dog Tag once, no matter how many cans you buy. If you make more qualifying purchases after that, you will not get the tag again, but you can stack up to three additional 60-minute 2XP boosts (one hour each) from those extra purchases.

How long you have

The promo is already live. The copy says you have two months to claim, but it also lists a final cutoff of December 31, 2025. Those two things do not match, so I am going with the hard date: you can redeem the Red Bull Dog Tag until December 31, 2025. Either way, do it sooner rather than later, because these things tend to get messy near the finish line.

Do you need to own the game?

Apparently not. The promo specifically says you do not need to purchase the game to earn the reward, and even mentions that Battlefield RedSec players can get the Dog Tag too. That name is odd, and it might be referring to a specific client or mode, but the important part is this: the redemption lives on your EA account, not a receipt for the game.

Quick recap: buy a qualifying Red Bull at GameStop, Gopuff, QuikTrip, or US military stores, verify the receipt with your phone number, get a Battlefield 6 code, redeem it on EA's site while signed in, and you will have the Red Bull Dog Tag plus an hour of Hardware 2XP. The tag is one-and-done; extra purchases can net up to three more hours of 2XP. Deadline says December 31, 2025, so you have time, but I would not wait around.
