When and where to watch
Episode 11 is set to air in South Korea on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 9:10 PM KST on tvN. Yes, Saturday. If you saw Sunday listed somewhere, chalk it up to a typo — Nov 15 is a Saturday in Korea. The show is still on its usual weekend pattern (Saturdays and Sundays), and episodes typically run about 1 hour and 10 minutes. It is Season 1, and new episodes hit streaming shortly after broadcast.
- Live in Korea: tvN at 9:10 PM KST (Sat, Nov 15)
- Streaming in Korea: TVING, after the tvN broadcast
- Streaming worldwide: Netflix holds the global rights; episodes arrive shortly after the Korean airing

What this show actually is
Set during South Korea's 1997 IMF crisis, Typhoon Family follows Kang Tae-poong, a carefree young CEO who has to grow up fast when his father dies and he suddenly inherits a company to save — and a lot of employees depending on him. Lee Jun-ho plays Tae-poong, and Kim Min-ha plays Oh Mi-seon, who is juggling being the responsible eldest daughter at home while becoming a crucial ally at Typhoon Trading.
Where we left off
Tae-poong and Mi-seon took a work trip to Thailand to lock down a trading deal. Sparks flew, sure, but then so did the handcuffs — the two were arrested after trying to bribe an official. Subtlety is not their strong suit. Episode 11 and beyond will deal with the fallout from that mess and whether their company can survive it.
Who is steering the ship
The series is written by Jung Hyun, with episodes directed (so far) by Lee Na-jung and Kim Dong-hwi. The tone has been classic weekend melodrama with a business-thriller edge, and episode 11 pushes the story closer to its endgame.
Streaming notes
Episodes stream in HD with multiple audio and subtitle options, but you will need a paid Netflix subscription (or TVING in Korea). Availability can vary slightly by region and time zone, so if it is not showing up immediately after the broadcast, give it a little time.
Bottom line: if you have been waiting to see whether Tae-poong and Mi-seon can fix a scandal and save a company at the same time, this weekend is your next checkpoint.
