Top 7 Most Boring Virgin River Characters
These seven won't rub you in any way.
Over its five-season run, Virgin River has featured a number of fascinating characters. But the show is also full of bland and uninspiring townsfolk who viewers wouldn't mind seeing less of on screen.
Here are the seven most boring characters on the Netflix show.
Ricky
The almost invisible bartender at Jack Sheridan's tavern, this teenager seems dull in every way. He may have an interesting personality, but he isn't given enough screen time to show it. As a result, few viewers really care about him.
Denny
Doc's grandson is a well-established character on Virgin River who debuted in season 3. Since then, viewers have seen enough of him, but he has proven to be totally unimpressive all the same. Although he has been in the spotlight in the last few episodes of Season 5, Denny still seems bland and unappealing.
Lizzie
In contrast, Connie's annoying niece has been ubiquitous throughout the fifth season. She has dated both of the aforementioned guys and has made a lot of mess. While Lizzie is constantly accompanied by drama, she's just too chaotic to be really interesting.
Cameron
Doc's sultry assistant, this newcomer has brought a lot of passion and excitement to Virgin River. In particular, his romance with Muriel has been quite fascinating to follow, although quite divisive as fans have had differing opinions on the character's passionate love arc. Nevertheless, Cameron is unintriguing and unengaging, which is why the audience doesn't really like him.
Tara
One of the late Lilly Anderson's daughters, Tara has made sporadic appearances on Virgin River since her debut in Season 3. Although she's had enough screen time and many interactions with the show's main character, Mel Monroe, Tara has failed to win the audience's favor. As a result, many people find her unlikeable.
Kaia
The newest addition to Virgin River, this firefighter came to the rescue when the town was hit by a wildfire in Season 5. She immediately hit it off with the local good guy, John Middleton, but their romance is universally hated by fans who don't buy its quick development. More importantly, Kaia seems chaotic and immature, afraid to settle down and take responsibility. Needless to say, this doesn't make her look good in the audience's eyes.
Preacher
The ultimate goodie of Virgin River, commonly known as Preacher, John Middleton has been with the show since its inception. As Jack Sheridan's best friend, he's also crucial to the plot. However, fans don't think much of him. He seems meek and gullible to any viewer.
