To Your Eternity season 3 premiered Saturday, October 4, 2025, staking its claim as fall’s standout with the opening salvo of the series’ final saga—waking Fushi into a modern world after a long slumber.

Good news, immortal tear-jerker fans: To Your Eternity is back, and it is going big. Season 3 kicks off the story’s endgame, drops Fushi into modern Japan, and yes, episode 1 is already out. Here’s the lay of the land without the fluff.

Release timing and where to watch

Season 3 episode 1 landed on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 11:45 p.m. JST. It went up the same day for the rest of the world — for the EDT crowd, that hit at 11:45 a.m. EDT.

The season runs 22 episodes total, split into two cours (read: two parts with a break in between). Only the first cour’s dates are locked right now.

Streaming: Crunchyroll is simulcasting as it airs in Japan and has also announced an English dub is on the way. In Japan, the show is broadcasting on NHK General.

A new trailer is out too, and it leans into the hook: Fushi waking up to the real, modern world after centuries of sleep.

What this season is adapting

Back in March 2023, Season 3 was officially announced as the adaptation of the manga’s Second Act — specifically the New World and Mimori arcs. That’s your inside-baseball way of saying we’re in the final saga. The anime-speak version: this run is being treated as the final season.

The setup this time

Fushi comes to in present-day Japan and has to figure out how to exist in a world that moved on without him. Expect the show to poke at his immortality more directly, introduce a new character named Mizuha, and weave in familiar faces from earlier seasons (some of which will catch you off guard). Themes-wise, we’re still swimming in grief, growth, and existential dread — with the Nokkers not exactly taking the season off.

For those keeping tabs on production, the series is animated by Drive.

Episode rollout (cour 1)

Here’s the weekly drop plan for the first half. Cour 2’s start date is still TBA, and as always, schedules can shift if there are unexpected breaks or delays:

  • Episode 1 - Oct 4, 2025
  • Episode 2 - Oct 11, 2025
  • Episode 3 - Oct 18, 2025
  • Episode 4 - Oct 25, 2025
  • Episode 5 - Nov 1, 2025
  • Episode 6 - Nov 8, 2025
  • Episode 7 - Nov 15, 2025
  • Episode 8 - Nov 22, 2025
  • Episode 9 - Nov 29, 2025
  • Episode 10 - Dec 6, 2025
  • Episode 11 - Dec 13, 2025

Bottom line: Episode 1 is live now on Crunchyroll, NHK General is airing it in Japan, and we’re staring down a 22-episode final stretch split across two cours. Buckle up.
