While streaming is convenient, it has one very serious flaw. Unlike DVDs and Blu-ray discs that you can keep around the house, your favorite movies aren't available on demand forever, because movies and shows are constantly being added and removed from streaming services. For instance, these ten movies will soon be removed from Apple TV+.

Mean Girls (2004, 7.1 on IMDb)

Tina Fey's classic comedy starring Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert and Amanda Seyfried centers on Cady Heron, a teenage girl who has spent most of her life traveling through Africa with her parents. Now that the Herons have returned to the United States, Cady will attend an ordinary high school where she will face the problems of many teenagers, as the trio of the school's most popular girls will make her life hell.

I Am Legend (2007, 7.2 on IMDb)

The third adaptation of Richard Matheson's book of the same name, the film stars Will Smith as Robert Neville, who believes he is the sole survivor of a genetically modified measles outbreak that wiped out most of the world's population and turned the rest into vampire-like creatures. As a US Army virologist, the character has made it his life's mission to develop a cure for the disease, but there's still so much he doesn't know.

Troy (2004, 7.3 on IMDb)

This adaptation of Homer's epic, The Iliad, tells the story of the Trojan War between the union of various ancient Greek poleis and the city of Troy after the wife of Menelaus, Helen, is kidnapped by the Trojan prince, Paris. The film features an all-star ensemble cast including Brad Pitt, Sean Bean, Brian Cox, Brendan Gleeson and Orlando Bloom.

Minority Report (2002, 7.6 on IMDb)

Set in the middle of the 21st century, this sci-fi film starring Tom Cruise and Colin Farrell revolves around a specialized police department called Precrime, which aims to prevent crime and catch criminals with the help of foresight provided by psychics. The new system helps nip crime in the bud, and the police are happy with the results, until one of the officers is charged with the murder of a person he hasn't even met yet.

300 (2007, 7.6 on IMDb)

Zack Snyder's fictionalized retelling of the most important battle of the Greco-Persian Wars, the Battle of Thermopylae, between the Spartan king Leonidas, who had three hundred soldiers at his side, and the Persian king Xerxes, who led an army of 300,000. The movie stars Gerard Butler, Rodrigo Santoro, and Lena Headey and adds even more fantastic details to the already epic story.

Gravity (2013, 7.7 on IMDb)

Starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney, the movie tells the story of two American astronauts who are stranded in Earth orbit after their shuttle is destroyed and try to return to the planet's surface under dire circumstances. With no way to contact Earth, the characters have only each other and the hope of staying alive.

Star Trek (2009, 7.9 on IMDb)

The big-screen reboot of the classic Star Trek television series is set in an alternate reality created by the time travel of some of the franchise's characters, giving the writers the freedom to reimagine the original story. The movie follows Captain Kirk and Spock as they battle Nero, who has come from the future to destroy the United Federation of Planets. The perilous quest will either result in the death of the beloved crew of the USS Enterprise or bring them together despite their many differences.

Mad Max: Fury Road (2015, 8.1 on IMDb)

The fourth installment in the Mad Max franchise follows the title character as he joins Imperator Furiosa and her team of rebels in their fight against Immortan Joe, the mad dictator who is chasing them to retrieve something very precious they've taken from him. As they travel through the wasteland desert, a long road battle ensues.

The Prestige (2006, 8.5 on IMDb)

This psychological thriller from the Nolan brothers stars Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale as Robert Angier and Alfred Borden, two Victorian-era magicians who studied under the same mentor but became bitter enemies after the tragedy that claimed the life of Angier's wife. As the characters build their careers, they constantly try to upstage and sabotage each other's performances. Their rivalry escalates when each character tries to create the best teleportation trick possible.

Fight Club (1999, 8.8 on IMDb)

David Fincher's cult film revolves around the Narrator, a depressed insurance agent who suffers from insomnia. At the lowest point of his life, he meets Tyler Durden, a soap salesman who takes the Narrator in after a devastating explosion in his apartment. Tyler quickly instills his philosophy that the only purpose of life is self-destruction in the Narrator. Soon, the two of them start a secret fight club that quickly draws in more and more men.
