Quick to make, restaurant-level payoff. This tuna and grape salad is one of those combos that sounds a little unexpected until you try it: briny fish meets juicy sweetness, plus a crisp, fresh crunch. It packs protein and omega-3s, stays light, and feels like something you whipped up on purpose, not in a panic.
What you need
- Canned tuna in its own juice (water) – 200 g
- Seedless grapes, green or red – 150 g
- Fresh cucumber – 1 medium
- Iceberg or romaine lettuce – 100 g
- Eggs, hard-boiled – 2
- Plain, unsweetened yogurt – 3 tbsp
- Dijon mustard – 1 tsp
- Lemon juice – 1 tsp
- Salt – a pinch
- Freshly ground black pepper – a pinch
How it comes together
Start with a little prep: rinse the grapes and slice each one in half. Cut the cucumber into thin half-moons. Dice the hard-boiled eggs into small cubes. Tear the lettuce by hand into generous pieces and spread it on a plate or shallow bowl as the base.
Scatter the cucumber and grape halves evenly over the lettuce. Drain the tuna well, then flake it gently with a fork and add it on top. Finish the build with the egg cubes for extra substance and balance.
Whisk together the yogurt, Dijon, and lemon juice. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper, and mix until smooth. Drizzle the dressing lightly over the salad to keep everything bright and fresh.
Serve it right
Bring it to the table immediately while the greens and grapes are crisp. Add a few whole grapes and a sprig or two of fresh herbs on top if you like a little flourish. This works for everyday lunch and also reads festive when you need something light but impressive.
