The boys have come a long way since their humble beginnings.

In 2010, five young contestants from X Factor grouped together to form One Direction, becoming bona fide superstars in a matter of months. Despite the boy band's sensational success, it famously went on hiatus in 2016, with each member of the group continuing their path to stardom on their own.

However, even after the band's virtual breakup, one thing remains the same — when an ex-One Direction member hits the red carpet, all eyes are on them!

Niall Horan

Niall has always been considered one of the cutest members of One Direction, and his early red carpet pictures clearly support that notion — he looked simply adorable back then. Today, Horan looks much more mature, as befits an artist with such an impressive career as his. The star will return as one of the coaches for The Voice Season 24, and his third album, The Show, will be released on June 9 of this year.

Zayn Malik

One Direction's bad boy was considered the most promising of the bandmates, and Zayn proved that perfectly in his early solo career, collaborating with some very popular singers and expanding his personal fan base. Although Zayn's career has stagnated a bit in recent years and he was even dropped by his record label in 2021, the singer still looks dashing in his rare red carpet appearances.

Harry Styles

The most popular ex-One Direction member has managed to up his red carpet game in recent years, provoking the public with each new appearance. Styles is now starring in movies and touring the world with concerts, earning much more money than his former bandmates.

Liam Payne

Although Liam failed to impress the public with his tracks, most of which seemed to be a shallow pastiche of other famous pop songs, he still manages to surprise fans on the red carpet, showing off his handsome face and great physique at every opportunity.

Louis Tomlinson

The eldest member of One Direction has been unsuccessful with his solo career, but the star may be bouncing back as his upcoming documentary, All of These Voices, is already making waves among the boy band's loyal fans.
