Following the staff of luxury resort hotels around the world, The White Lotus has told stories set in Hawaii and Sicily. Season 3 will reportedly be set in Thailand, where another hotel in the title chain caters to its wealthy clientele.

As a result, the TWL cast actually lives in these lavish settings and experiences the perks of their characters' lifestyles. Despite the fact that Season 3 has been filming since the end of February, Carrie Coon and her many co-stars are still in awe of their good fortune. But it's not just the nice working conditions that amaze the actress. She's happy to have a job after the turmoil of the 2023 strikes.

'I think all of us in Thailand are pinching ourselves at the opportunity. We all know these are really coveted jobs. They're hard to get. There are fewer of them. The industry has contracted a little bit since the strike, so we're all aware of how fortunate we are to have a job at all,' Carrie Coon shared in a recent interview.

Mike White's Genius

In the end, nothing beats the story itself. Created by Mike White, The White Lotus has been praised for its masterful storytelling since its inception. And Carrie Coon knows how lucky she is to be working with him on the fan-favorite show.

'It's really peak TV as they say. So the really coveted thing is great writing, and Mike White certainly offers that in spades, as well as really incredible direction. He works beautifully with actors, and so I'm having a marvelous time,' the actress added.

Hopefully, we'll get a glimpse of the set in the near future. In the meantime, we can only look forward to the adventures that Season 3 of TWL will bring us.
