Netflix just unleashed a tense first look at The Night Agent Season 3: Peter strides into a packed soccer stadium to warn Suraj Sharma’s character that people are hunting him. The hunt is on—and the night agent is already in motion.

Netflix just tossed out a fresh teaser for The Night Agent Season 3, and it wastes zero time throwing Peter back into the deep end. It feels bigger, louder, and a little nastier than before, which, let’s be honest, is exactly what this show does best.

The teaser: stadium panic, high-speed chaos, and a dangerous ask

We open on Peter fully in his night agent mode, slipping into a packed soccer stadium and making contact with a guy played by Suraj Sharma. The message is simple and tense: people are hunting you, do exactly what I say if you want to walk out of here. From there, the teaser cranks up to a car chase, fists flying, and Peter literally blasting through a burning door. Subtle, this is not.

The interesting wrinkle is what the imagery is hinting at: Peter isn’t just making calls in the field; he might be cutting deals. With whom, and at what price, is the question the teaser keeps dangling.

When it lands

The show was renewed for Season 3 before Season 2 even arrived, and production wrapped in July 2025 after a globe-trotting shoot through Istanbul, New York, Washington D.C., Mexico City, and the Dominican Republic. Season 3 premieres February 19, 2026 on Netflix.

What Season 3 is actually about

Plot specifics are being kept close, but Netflix’s own tease sets the table: Peter gets pulled into a dangerous conspiracy wired straight into the White House; a relentless reporter with a big tip and a messy past muscles into the story; there’s a murder suspect desperate to clear his name; a father-and-son duo leaves bodies behind them; familiar allies are suddenly in danger; new and old enemies circle; and Peter ends up with a new partner who might save him or sink him. Tons of moving parts, which is very this show.

Who is back, and who is new

Gabriel Basso returns as Peter Sutherland. Joining him this season: Louis Herthum, Albert Jones, Ward Horton, Fola Evans-Akingbola, Suraj Sharma, Stephen Moyer, Genesis Rodriguez, and David Lyons.

The showrunner is promising bigger everything

Creator and showrunner Shawn Ryan is not exactly underselling it.

"We are so excited to bring new thrills, new worlds, new stunts, new characters, and new adventures to our fans in Season 3. Thanks so much for devouring Season 2, and we look forward to bringing you a bigger and even better Season 3."

He also made it clear the new season will stand on its own while still keeping a thread to what came before.

"There will be new storylines in Season 3 that don’t relate at all to anything in Season 2. We want the seasons to feel separate, but there will be some carryover, and there will be some actors from Season 2 that carry over to Season 3."

So expect a clean entry point with fresh dynamics and power players, plus a few familiar faces to keep the world connected. Between the international shoot and the teaser’s escalation, it sure looks like the show is leaning into full-throttle, globe-spanning spy trouble again. Loyalties will get tested. Lines will blur. And Peter’s survival may depend on who he chooses to trust.

The Night Agent Season 3 hits Netflix on February 19, 2026.
