These five are the biggest premieres on their streaming services.

The biggest advantage of streaming services is the constant influx of content. New shows and movies are released all the time. This week is no exception. Here are five shows and movies premiering on Netflix, Apple TV+, Max, Disney+, and Amazon Prime in the coming days.

Acapulco (Season 3, May 1, Apple TV+)

When it premiered in 2021, the Spanish/English-language comedy quickly proved to be a hit. Inspired by the film How to Be a Latin Lover, the show follows Maximo Gallardo, a successful Malibu-based mogul, as he recalls his first steps to success when he started working at Las Colinas, Acapulco's most prestigious resort, in 1984. However, the job turned out to be more challenging than Maximo thought. Season 3, which premieres tomorrow, will continue to explore the difficulties.

The Idea of You (May 2, Amazon Prime)

Starring Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine, this highly anticipated rom com tells the story of Solène Marchand, a forty-year-old single mother and owner of a fairly successful art gallery, whose life takes an unexpected turn when she takes her teenage daughter to Coachella. There, Solène meets Hayes Campbell, the twenty-four-year-old lead singer of the popular fictional boy band August Moon, with whom she develops a romance against all odds.

Hacks (Season 3, May 2, Max)

The comedy-drama starring Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder, which follows the professional relationship between a legendary stand-up comedian and a young comedy writer, premiered in 2021 to widespread acclaim. The upcoming third season will continue to explore their journey together as Einbinder's Ava helps Smart's Deborah revitalize her act, while Deborah helps Ava deal with her personal issues.

Unfrosted (May 3, Netflix)

Jerry Seinfeld's directorial debut boasts an all-star cast that includes Melissa McCarthy, Jim Gaffigan, Hugh Grant and Amy Schumer in addition to the director himself, and tells the highly fictionalized story of the rivalry between Kellogg's and Post Cereal as they compete to revolutionize the breakfast cereal market in 1963. The comedy is an absurdist take on the origin story of Pop-Tarts toaster pastries.

Star Wars: Tales of the Empire (May 4, Disney+)

The second installment of the animated anthology series will focus on two character arcs. One will follow Morgan Elsbeth, the Imperial Magistrate of Calodan on the planet Corvus, as she navigates the Imperial world in search of revenge. The other will focus on Barriss Offee, a former Jedi who must adapt to the rapid changes in the galaxy in order to survive. And with each difficult choice they make, the characters shape their destinies.
