The Premise
The eagerly anticipated spin-off will follow the same rules as The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. The single bachelor will be faced with a group of female contestants vying for his affection and the chance to become his potential spouse. The only difference is the age - this time, the contestants will not be young individuals with their whole lives ahead of them but been-there-done-that women aged between 60 and 75.
Who is the Golden Bachelor?
The focal point of everyone's romantic interest in this version of the show will be the 72-year-old retired restaurateur Gerry Turner, who will be The Golden Bachelor's inaugural leading man. Not only is Turner a striking man who hasn't even turned gray yet, but he's also wise, charismatic, and moderately humble. He currently resides in his dream house in Indiana and has two daughters and granddaughters.
In 2017, he lost his wife of 43 years, Toni. Now, six years after the death of the love of his life, Gerry is ready to open his heart to someone new.

On August 30, The Bachelor expert renowned for his numerous confirmed leaks, Reality Steve, published a post on his Instagram account revealing the top 3 and even the top 2 women. According to Steve, only three women visited Gerry's hometown.
They are 60-year-old teacher Faith Martin from Benton City, Washington, 64-year-old aerobics instructor Leslie Fhima from Minneapolis, Minnesota, and 69-year-old financial services professional Theresa Nist from Shrewsbury, New Jersey.
At the same time, according to the expert, only Leslie and Theresa will meet Gerry's family while in Costa Rica, where the potential overnight dates will take place.
