The star-stacked 2011 rom-com 10 Years, featuring Channing Tatum and Oscar Isaac, is now streaming for free, with Jamie Linden’s feature debut following Jake and his classmates through one messy, funny, bittersweet reunion night.

If you missed this one back in the day, you are not alone. A 2011 reunion rom-com with a frankly ridiculous cast — Channing Tatum, Oscar Isaac, and a pile of other familiar faces — just popped up to stream for free.

Where to watch it

'10 Years' is now streaming in full on the Lionsgate Movies YouTube channel. No rental, no subscription — just hit play.

The setup

Originally released in 2011 by Anchor Bay Films, '10 Years' was written and directed by Jamie Linden in his feature debut. Tatum plays Jake, a guy who shows up to his 10-year high school reunion ready to propose to his girlfriend, Jess... right up until an old flame walks back into his life and scrambles his head all over again.

What it is about (without the fluff)

It is an ensemble hangout movie set over the course of one long reunion night, where everyone quickly discovers they are not as grown-up as they thought:

- Jake (Channing Tatum) is happily with Jess (Jenna Dewan-Tatum) and planning a proposal, but running into Mary (Rosario Dawson), the ex who got away, complicates the plan.

- Cully (Chris Pratt) married his high school sweetheart, Sam (Ari Graynor), and shows up determined to apologize to the classmates he used to bully — which goes... about how you would expect.

- Marty (Justin Long) and Garrity (Brian Geraghty) fall right back into their old rivalry, trying to impress Anna (Lynn Collins), the former class knockout.

- Reeves (Oscar Isaac), once a band geek and now an actual rock star, finally gets a chance to talk to his long-time secret crush, Elise (Kate Mara).

A few more familiar faces round out the reunion crowd: Max Minghella (AJ), Aubrey Plaza (Olivia), Anthony Mackie (Andre), Ron Livingston (Paul), and Aaron Yoo (Peter).

And the filmmaker

This was Jamie Linden's first time directing a feature, and he has not directed another one since. He has stayed busy as a screenwriter, though, with credits on 'We Are Marshall' (2006), 'Dear John' (2010), 'Money Monster' (2016), and 'Chaos Walking' (2021).
