Bleach’s influence on Jujutsu Kaisen runs deeper than style, uniting Bankai and Domain Expansion in a shared language of power. As Gojo Satoru’s domain reigns supreme, these devastating Bankai might be the only contenders that can shake it.

Bleach and Jujutsu Kaisen play with similar ideas: big spiritual power-ups that rewrite the rules of a fight. Bankai. Domains. You get it. Gojo Satoru's Unlimited Void is widely seen as the top Domain Expansion in JJK, but Bleach has some Bankai that could absolutely make him sweat. Some of these are elegant. Some are straight-up nightmares. All of them are famous for a reason.

So, here are the Bankai that, on paper, can crack, melt, rename, or just punch through Unlimited Void. Ranked from 'tough matchup' to 'good luck, blindfold guy.'

  1. Mayuri Kurotsuchi - Konjiki Ashisogi Jizo: Matai Fukuin Shotai

Mayuri's Bankai is a lab-grown monster: poisons, bio-weapons, mutations, the works. He keeps modding it with new toxins and living components, and the whole thing learns as it fights. It's less a sword and more an evolving experiment that's happy to test you in real time.

Against Unlimited Void: Gojo controls space and floods you with information. Mayuri attacks your body and spirit directly with chemical and spiritual poisons that don't care about distance or touch. Invisible gases? Mental disruption? Death by data overload meets death by design. He could simply let the toxins eat away at Gojo while the domain is up.

  2. Retsu Unohana - Minazuki

Unohana turns her blade into a dark red pool that heals her and dissolves you. It's a perfect nightmare: instant self-restoration wrapped in corrosive spiritual acid. Life and death wrapped into one very calm, very terrifying package.

Against Unlimited Void: Domains guarantee hits, but Minazuki makes that a slog. Unohana can keep healing through whatever lands, and that liquid can flood the area, eating away at everything inside. If Gojo tries to maintain control, she can literally drown the space he's trying to curate.

  3. Kenpachi Zaraki - (Unnamed) Bankai

Kenpachi's Bankai doesn't bother with a name. His body turns red, and his power spikes into pure demolition. Speed, strength, cutting power — all absurd. He slashes through techniques and, depending on how wild you read it, through space itself.

Against Unlimited Void: If you lock a wrecking ball in a glass room, the room loses. Gojo's precision-space trick runs into Kenpachi's brute-force solution: tear the domain apart and then the guy who made it.

  4. Kuchiki Byakuya - Senbonzakura Kageyoshi

Byakuya turns his sword into countless tiny blades that look like cherry blossoms. He can sculpt them into walls, whirlwinds, or razor streams from every direction. It's beautiful, and it's a blender.

Against Unlimited Void: Fill the domain with blades moving at light-like speeds and see how much 'control' is left. The petals attack and defend nonstop, leaving no safe pocket for Gojo to breathe, much less set the pace.

  5. Ichigo Kurosaki - Tensa Zangetsu

One of Bleach's heaviest hitters. Tensa Zangetsu spikes Ichigo's speed, strength, and reaction time to the point where you may not even see the swing. He can also fire concentrated blasts with Enhanced Getsuga Tensho.

Against Unlimited Void: Domains take a beat to fully lock. Ichigo's speed lets him crash that setup window. And if he needs to brute-force it, a full-power Getsuga could carve straight through the space Gojo is trying to hold together.

  6. Senjumaru Shutara - Shatatsu Karagara Shigarami no Tsuji

Zero Division royalty with a sewing kit that shapes reality. Senjumaru manipulates the 'threads' and 'fabrics' that connect dimensions, whipping up bindings, clothing, weapons — and rules — on the fly.

Against Unlimited Void: If the domain is a woven space, she can cut and re-stitch the weave. That means unraveling the structure, reformatting the connections, or even severing Gojo from his own technique. No power source, no domain.

  7. Shunsui Kyoraku - Katen Kyokotsu: Karamatsu Shinju

Shunsui turns the battlefield into a gloomy stage and forces both players into a deadly play with changing acts. Each act imposes a rule — shared pain, inescapable strikes — and both sides have to live with it.

Against Unlimited Void: Gojo's domain promises guaranteed hits. Shunsui's Bankai rewrites what 'hit' and 'damage' even mean. He can force rule sets where Gojo can't win — for example, any damage dealt bounces back, or the script demands an ending Gojo can't avoid.

  8. Kisuke Urahara - Kannonbiraki Benihime Aratame

Urahara summons a giant, braided manifestation that can reconstruct or reconfigure anything it touches — living bodies, spiritual energy, terrain, even attacks. Heal, reshape, repurpose.

Against Unlimited Void: Domains are structures. Urahara is a structural editor. He can deconstruct the domain's framework, rewrite the composition, and rebuild the space to favor him instead of Gojo.

  9. Ichibe Hyosube - Shirafude Ichimonji

Zero Division's commander plays with names — literally. He can rename anything, and when the name changes, so does the thing's nature and abilities. It's metaphysics with a brushstroke.

Against Unlimited Void: Rename the domain, strip its function, and it's no longer Unlimited or Void. Rename Gojo while you're at it and stop the expansion from happening in the first place.

  10. Genryusai Yamamoto - Zanka no Tachi

Peak devastation. Yamamoto condenses every flame into his blade until the heat hits sun-tier. Swings burn reality. The surrounding area turns into a drought-stricken wasteland that saps opponents dry.

Against Unlimited Void: Space control is cute until the space itself catches fire. Zanka no Tachi's heat and spiritual pressure would scorch the domain as it forms. Even if Gojo traps him, the arena melts before it can do its job, and Yamamoto walks through the embers.

Yeah, it's a cross-series power debate, but the matchups are fun — and these Bankai aren't just fan favorites; they're widely known across the anime world for exactly this kind of absurd, rule-breaking power.

Think another Bankai bodies Unlimited Void? Drop it in the comments.
