The third season of the comedy-drama show Ted Lasso is already on monitors and TVs. The sequel to the critically acclaimed and award-winning sports drama is out today, March 15, 2023. When does Apple TV+ release new episodes for Ted Lasso?

We live in a global information technology world where the release time of new media is the same for everyone. And while one person is going to bed to get up early for work, someone on the other side of the world is awake and eagerly anticipating their favorite show.

Confusion is also caused by the fact that different streaming services release their shows and movies at different times, and sometimes those are exclusive to certain time zones. For example, for Netflix and Disney+, it is 3 a.m. Eastern time (that is, 12 p.m. Pacific time). Meanwhile, Apple TV+ tends to release its shows at 9 p.m., 12 a.m., or even 3 a.m. ET.

The series focuses on the title character, Ted Lasso, a football (the American one) coach at an American high school. Suddenly, he moves to the United Kingdom to coach a soccer team that competes in the Premier League. Although the protagonist has no football experience, his good nature, charisma, and optimism allow the team to reach unprecedented heights.

Despite its relatively niche subject matter (compared to all the other series), Ted Lasso has become a phenomenon. The show about the English soccer team and their charming coach not only has high ratings on Rotten Tomatoes, but also received the most nominations for its first season alone, winning a total of 20 Primetime Emmy Awards.

So back to the schedule. The first episode, "Smells Like Ted Spirit", has already aired on Apple TV+. It was released at 9 p.m. ET (that's 6 p.m. PT and 1 a.m. GMT). Based on this, it can be assumed that the streaming service will air subsequent episodes at the same time.

Get ready, fans of soccer, sports dramas, and Jason Sudeikis! The second episode of season 3, "Chelsea", will premiere on March 22.
