Ted Lasso S3E7: Biggest Clue Keeley & Jack Relationship Not Gonna End Well

In its first season, released in 2020, Ted Lasso featured a whole spectrum of romantic relationships at different stages: Ted seemed to be happily married to his wife Michelle even though they were oceans apart (one particular ocean, to be exact), Rebecca had just divorced her unfaithful husband and got AFC Richmond as part of their settlement, and Keeley was dating footballer Jamie Tartt.

Over the three seasons and several years into the running, these characters' circumstances have changed drastically, and so have their love lives. But it looks like Keeley Jones has come the longest way romance-wise.

After having a flaming affair with Tartt, Keeley found herself in a more mature relationship with Roy Kent. Many fans wished this couple would be the endgame, so happy Jones and Kent seemed at the end of Season 2.

Unfortunately for everybody, the two characters unexpectedly ended their romance at the beginning of Ted Lasso's third season, as they decided to devote themselves to their careers. Almost to save the day, Jack Danvers appeared on the show — a new character who immediately became Keeley's love interest. However, recent Episode 7 suggests they might not end up together after all.

As Rebecca invites Keeley to a restaurant and hints at Jack 'love-bombing' Keeley with extravagant gifts, Jones has an honest conversation with her date, asking her for more equality in their relationship.

In her turn, Jack shocks her with her knowledge about Keeley and Rebecca eating out together, and she even knows which restaurant they went to!

Fantastically creepy and cringey at the same time, this moment makes us wonder if Danvers is really a good match for Jones. Keeley's new partner has characterized herself as jealous, and the question is whether she can and will tolerate this 'jealousy,' which obviously leads to Jack overstepping her personal boundaries.

What's more, there is a possibility that this unfortunate and short love story is an arc that will bring Keeley back to Roy. But of course, it is too early to make any definitive judgment, as five more episodes of the season are left to air.
