As much as they love the show, they are not ready to sacrifice quality for quantity.

As hard as it is to believe, it's been half a month since the last episode of Apple TV+'s hit show, Ted Lasso, was released. Throughout its three seasons, Ted Lasso gave viewers hope and positivity in spades, helping many people cope with the challenges of the covid pandemic.

Naturally, audiences grew attached to the show, and now that the third and final season has concluded, they're reluctant to say goodbye to it.

Ted Lasso's cast have often expressed their love for the show. Furthermore, they've also shared their regrets about its conclusion. For instance, Hannah Waddingham recently stated that she had become so invested in her character, Rebecca Welton, that she was prepared to lock Jason Sudeikis, the show's creator and primary writer, in a dungeon to force him to continue the story. Nonetheless, the actors aren't willing to sacrifice Ted Lasso's quality for another season.

At a recent FYC Emmys event, the cast of Ted Lasso shared their views on the show's potential continuation and whether that would mean a fourth season or a spinoff. When the Hollywood Reporter asked Juno Temple, who played Keeley Jones in Ted Lasso, if she was 'satisfied' with the show's ending, she offered a somewhat controversial answer.

'Are you ever satisfied? I can’t get no satisfaction,' the actress said, alluding to the famous Rolling Stones track. 'Jason always said even if the TV’s not showing their lives, their lives continue.'

Phil Dunster, who played Keeley's boyfriend on the show, also commented on the fans' desire for more Ted Lasso. According to him, it would be a disgrace to prolong the beloved sitcom merely to please the audience.

'It’s wonderful that people care. It’s one of those things where if there was to be anything more — which I don’t know, nobody knows if there will be — so long as it’s done with integrity that’s the thing that everybody cares about. No one wants more for the sake of it, there’s enough TV around,' the actor remarked.

In any case, Ted Lasso has officially concluded, and there's no news about any possible continuation yet. On the bright side, you can now stream the complete series on Apple TV+.
