TBBT Cast Off-Screen Friendship is Real & Melissa Rauch Just Proved It
Two friends from TBBT are still close in real life.
Released in 2007, The Big Bang Theory is nothing short of iconic. The sitcom featured an ensemble cast of actors whose characters were lovable and relatable, with their stories closely intertwined.
TBBT characters went through different dramas throughout the series' 12 seasons, but they have always remained good friends, and the finale showed them sharing a meal at the apartment, like they always did throughout the show.
Unsurprisingly, the actors who portrayed the main characters also developed close friendships in real life. One of them, Melissa Rauch, wasn't there from the start of TBBT, making her first appearance in Season 3, but her character quickly became a fan favorite and the actress also formed strong connections with her co-stars right away. Now, four years after the last season aired, it seems that Rauch is still close with the other female lead from the beloved show.
The actress recently left a congratulatory comment under her co-star and friend Kaley Cuoco's Instagram post about the birth of her daughter.
'Soooo beautiful!!! Absolutely over the moon for you all!' Rauch's comment reads.
Despite both actresses being busy with their lives and careers and not working together anymore, they were able to maintain and carry their friendship through the years. We can also remember how radiant Cuoco and Rauch looked standing next to each other in TBBT's cast group photos, and this just serves to prove that the stars had been good friends all along.
Of course, these actresses aren't the only ones among TBBT's cast who have preserved their friendships since the show's finale. Jim Parsons also admitted to being good friends with Simon Helberg. The actors had their dressing rooms close to each other and, reportedly, spent a lot of time pacing between them.
What's more, Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki followed in their characters' footsteps and dated for almost two years, eventually breaking up in 2010. Despite their split, the actors are still 'dear friends,' according to Galecki:
'Kaley's not just an ex, she's a part of my life,' the actor told People.
Time flies, and it's heartwarming to see the cast of the beloved sitcom preserve their friendships through the years.
