Task episode 3 dropped a bombshell: someone inside Tom’s team is feeding the Dark Hearts — and fans’ prime suspect is Anthony Grasso. From pointed cutaways to suspiciously timed intel, the breadcrumb trail has viewers convinced there’s a mole in plain sight.

Task episode 3 hits the gas on the mole storyline. The show makes it clear someone inside Tom's Task Force is feeding the Dark Hearts, but it refuses to actually name the snitch. Fans are zeroing in on Anthony Grasso, and yeah, the episode basically invites that suspicion.

Is Grasso confirmed as the informant?

No. The episode never outright says Grasso is the leak. What it does show: Tom's team has an insider problem. The Dark Hearts somehow had exactly the same intel on the home invasions that the Task Force did. That is not a coincidence.

And here is the kicker: the Cliff lead was only known to three people on Tom's side — Aleah, Lizzie, and Grasso. If the Dark Hearts knew what the Task Force knew, and that specific lead was limited to those three, then one of them is the mole. The episode stops at that line and lets the paranoia do the rest.

Why everyone is side-eyeing Grasso

  • He bailed on a bar date with Lizzie without a real explanation about where he was going.
  • During a heartfelt speech, he made a point of saying he does not have much respect for the police.
  • Compared to Aleah and Lizzie, he shared the least about his own past when the episode dug into their backstories.

None of that proves anything, but taken together, it is not a great look. The episode clearly wants you wondering what Grasso is hiding.

Meanwhile, a different mole actually gets unmasked

On the villain side, we do get a concrete reveal. The person inside the Dark Hearts feeding intel to Robbie and Cliff is Eryn, Jayson's wife. Twist on top of twist: Eryn was having an affair with Robbie's brother, Billy, and that affair is why Jayson beat Billy to death. Messy does not begin to cover it.

Where this leaves Tom's team

By the end of episode 3, we know two things for sure: the Dark Hearts were operating with the Task Force's level of detail on the home invasions, and the only people who knew about the Cliff lead on Tom's side were Aleah, Lizzie, and Grasso. One of them is leaking. The show is practically daring you to pick a suspect now and regret it later.

Task episode 3 is streaming on Max, and it looks like the next few hours are going to be a lot of 'trust no one' energy.
