Storage Wars: What Happened to Brandi and Jarrod Got the Cops Involved
They were one of reality TV's most watchable couples — bickering, bartering, and battling over storage lockers on Storage Wars.
But behind the scenes, Brandi Passante and Jarrod Schulz's breakup was way uglier than anything they ever pulled out of a rusty unit. And yes, the cops got involved.
Brandi and Jarrod were part of the Storage Wars cast for years before branching out with a spin-off in 2014, Brandi & Jarrod: Married to the Job. It only lasted one season, and despite the title, the pair were never actually married. The show followed their life running a thrift store and raising two kids — Payton and Cameron — but once it fizzled out, they returned to the main series. That didn't last either.
By 2018, Brandi and Jarrod had split for good. What followed was a slow unraveling of their on-screen and off-screen relationship — and then things escalated.
On March 17, 2021, Jarrod was charged with misdemeanor domestic violence battery after an alleged altercation with Brandi, according to Entertainment Weekly. A month later, on April 30, the two reportedly crossed paths again at a bar, and when Brandi asked Jarrod to leave, he refused. Things allegedly got heated, with reports of shouting and pushing. Jarrod left before police arrived.
Since then, only one of them has been welcomed back to Storage Wars. Brandi rejoined the cast for season 15, while Jarrod has been absent ever since.

She's also moved on. Brandi is now dating Clifford Beaver, a bar owner who, by all social media accounts, seems to be a much better fit. The two share a zodiac sign (Taurus) and plenty of selfies. Brandi's also been glowing in recent public appearances — fans say she looks happier and healthier than she ever did on the show with Jarrod.
As for the Storage Wars legacy — Brandi's still part of it. Jarrod, not so much. And judging by how things went down, that's probably for the best.
