Mushrooms in ARC Raiders can feel maddeningly scarce—less rare than blueprints, yet just as elusive topside—until you hit the one hotspot that lets you scoop a fat haul every run.

Mushrooms in ARC Raiders are one of those things that either fall in your lap or vanish into thin air. They are not blueprint-rare, but if you are roaming topside without a plan, you can burn an entire run and come back empty. The good news: there is a spot that reliably spits out a handful every time, and a couple of tricks to boost your haul when the game flips on its nature party mode.

The spot that actually works

Head to the Spaceport map, up in the northern section between Fuel Control and Little Hangar. Spaceport is a PvP magnet, so go in with Shields and a stash of healing. A Raider Hatch nearby makes this area easy to landmark. Look for a massive blue structure with trees below it. Vault the railings, do a combat roll down, and check the tree branches. That is where the mushrooms like to cluster.

On a good run, this route yields 3 to 4 mushrooms pretty much every time you spawn on Spaceport. It is not 100% guaranteed, but the odds are far better than hunting randomly. Sweep nearby trees before you bail; extras do pop.

  • Map: Spaceport, north side, between Fuel Control and Little Hangar
  • Landmark: Giant blue structure; trees directly beneath it
  • Access: Vault the railings and combat roll down to the branches
  • Loot: Check tree branches first, then nearby trees
  • Yield: Usually 3–4 mushrooms per spawn, sometimes more
  • Risk: PvP hotspot; bring Shields and heals

When the Lush Bloom event is live

Lush Bloom cranks up nature loot across the map and spikes the spawn rate of Wicker Baskets, many of which carry mushrooms. During the event, you will also see mushrooms pop in the wild more often — on branches, along pipes, and on the ground at Nature-tagged locations. The original wording on this is a little confusing, but the intent is simple: during Lush Bloom, nature loot is up and mushrooms are easier to find.

Even so, the Spaceport tree spot is still the most consistent single farm area whether the event is on or off. If you want a backup lane, the Hydroponic Dome Complex on the Dam Battlegrounds map is worth a pass.

What mushrooms actually do

They are not just scenery. Mushrooms have two practical uses:

First, they work as an on-the-fly heal. If you are low, a mushroom can top you up fast in a pinch, which is great when you are out of proper meds and a fight is still happening. It is the kind of thing most players overlook until they get saved by it once.

Second, mushrooms are part of maxing out Scrappy at your Workshop. The final Scrappy upgrade needs 12x Mushroom, 12x Apricot, and 3x Very Comfortable Pillows. Yes, you read that right: your adorable, very helpful rooster collects materials while you are topside tangling with ARCs and Raiders, and upgrading him means better resources waiting for you after a clean extraction back to Speranza. It is weird, and it rules.
