Emily in Paris season 5 has landed on Netflix, whisking Emily Cooper from Paris to Rome and Venice with Lily Collins and the full ensemble back—and a soundtrack stacked with pop bangers and global classics.

Emily in Paris is back with its most globe-trotting season yet, and the music department clearly brought a passport. Season 5 dropped December 18, 2025 on Netflix, stretches Emily’s misadventures from Paris to Rome and Venice, and stuffs more than 80 songs into 10 episodes. If you watch for the fashion and stay for the needle drops, this one is going to live in your head for a while.

What’s new (and who’s back)

Lily Collins returns as Emily Cooper, with the regulars all accounted for: Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Lucien Laviscount, and the rest of the ensemble. The show takes a Roman holiday (plus Venice), and the soundtrack follows suit: modern pop, French favorites, Italian classics, and a few throwback movie cues you will absolutely recognize.

The original score is again by Gabriel Mann, who handled last season too. Mann’s the guy behind Modern Family and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, and he keeps the series’ fizzy, rom-com pulse steady while the source tracks do the heavy lifting.

Why this soundtrack stands out

Ashley Park’s Mindy continues to be the show’s musical MVP, with on-screen performances that actually feel like events: covers include Sabrina Carpenter’s Espresso, Britney’s Oops! I Did It Again, The Weather Girls’ It’s Raining Men, and the big Moulin Rouge! duet staple Come What May. There’s also a classy nod to Italian cinema (Nino Rota, Piero Piccioni), and even a dance set to Piazzolla’s Libertango. It’s a very intentional blend that mirrors the season’s cross-European hop.
