A lost-cat quest in The Forge on Roblox sounds like a quick errand. It isn’t. The game makes you bankroll a Goblin monarch before you even see whiskers. If you want the straight path to Tomo’s missing feline without getting stuck in the weeds, here’s how to do it cleanly.
Step 1: Grab the quest from Tomo
Find Tomo the Explorist in Stonewake’s Cross. He’s to the left of the mine entrance, up the hill, tucked behind the Greedy Cey NPC. Talk to him to start the Lost Cat quest.
Before you dash off: you need to be Level 10 and you must have finished the ‘End of the Beginning’ quest from Sensei Moro. Those are the gates to create the portal to the Forgotten Kingdom. Hit those requirements, open the portal, and head in.
Step 2: Pay off the Goblin King (yes, really)
Once you land in the Forgotten Kingdom, run straight, then take a left at the Enhancers shop. Follow the path until you see the Goblin King’s encampment on your right, guarded by Azuk and Gurak. Talk to the King to kick off his quest. It’s a shopping list with teeth:
- Bring $5,000 Gold to the Goblin King.
- Bring $10,000 Gold and 3 Topaz.
- Bring $15,000 Gold and 5 Diamonds.
- Bring $20,000 Gold and 5 Emeralds.
- Bring $25,000 Gold and 5 Ruby.
Finish all of that and the Goblin King bails. Search his throne for the key to the Goblin Cave, then unlock the cave door right next to the throne. Heads up: this grind takes a while, so chip away at it at your own pace.
Step 3: The cat is hiding behind a waterfall
Inside the Goblin Cave, go straight from the entrance to the first intersection, then take the left path. You’ll spot a bridge and, beyond it, a waterfall framed by giant colorful mushrooms. That’s your landmark.
Walk into the waterfall. You’ll see a rock wall, but it’s a fake-out. Push straight through the center rock to slip into a hidden area. Follow the path and you’ll find Tomo’s cat sitting on a rock, being unhelpfully serene. Pick it up (it goes into your inventory) and bring it back to Tomo in Stonewake’s Cross.
What you get for all that
You’re rewarded with a big chunk of XP (enough to jump more than two levels), a hefty pile of Gold, and the very on-brand title ‘Cat Lover’.
