ARC Raiders just dropped, and the scramble for Raider Coins is real—the currency that fuels upgrades, crafting, and bigger builds. There’s no one farm to rule them all, but smart routes and tactics can stack your stash fast.

ARC Raiders just launched and, surprise, the economy already runs on Raider Coins. If you want upgrades, crafting materials, and bigger toys, this is the currency that makes it all happen. There is no magic money machine here, but there are smart routes and habits that stack your wallet faster than panic-looting and praying.

Where the money actually is (right now)

Not all locations are created equal. The map labels the good stuff, but the best loot often lives where other players and mean robots do too. If you are chasing coin value, here is where it makes sense to risk your hide:

  • Dam Battlegrounds - Hydroponic Dome Complex: High risk, rare parts, red-outlined POI, serious coin potential
  • Dam Battlegrounds - Power Generation Complex: High risk, industrial/tech gear, also red-outlined, also crowded
  • Spaceport - Warehouse: Low risk, industrial materials, steady coin with less stress
  • Spaceport - Fuel Control: Medium risk, chemical components, good turnover
  • Spaceport - Rocket Assembly: Medium risk, technological parts, reliable drops
  • Buried City - Hospital: Medium risk, medical supplies, safer than Dam, great for low-investment runs
  • Buried City - Research: Low risk, ARC components, lower ceiling but calm vibes

Timing and events matter more than you think

The world shifts. Dynamic events change what spawns and how hard enemies (and players) come for you. Use map modifiers to tilt the odds in your favor. Night raids are a good example: expect nastier AI and more PvP, but loot value spikes too. Keep an eye out for disabled ARC units you can salvage for components, and hit hidden caches for quick grab-and-go profit.

Pack smart, sell smarter

Inventory management is the difference between coming home rich or coming home annoyed. Prioritize high-rarity items and anything flagged with the little diamond icon. Those trinkets exist to be sold, and they are usually worth the space.

When your bag starts groaning, do not just toss junk. Salvage common stuff into base materials; they stack, travel better, and often sell for more later. Safe Pocket slots are your insurance policy — anything you put there extracts even if you get deleted. Use them for the most valuable or time-sensitive items.

What to sell vs. what to keep: sell trinkets and other obviously high-value loot. Hang on to raw components from salvaging if you craft a lot — they tend to pay for themselves long-term when they turn into better gear.

"Extracting is more important than looting."

Capacity is king: augments and the free loadout trap

If you are serious about profit runs, Looting Mk.1 and Looting Mk.2 are basically mandatory. More carry weight and more backpack space equals more coin. Simple math.

Free loadouts are great when you want a zero-investment run — if you die, you lose nothing you care about. The catch: the augment slot is fixed, so you cannot use Looting Mk.1/2. Translation: safer for your wallet, not great for maximum haul.

Plan the exit before the entry

Go in with a purpose: which POI, what you want, how you are getting out. Once your bag is mostly full, extract early instead of greed-running the next room. Hatch Keys are your emergency ripcord — instant extraction when you are carrying something expensive and the neighborhood gets spicy. Keep a Hatch Key in your Safe Pocket so it cannot get taken away.

Consumables that make profit runs painless

The Adrenaline Shot is the MVP. It fully refills stamina and boosts regen, which means long-distance sprints without wheezing halfway through the map. It is cheap and easy to craft: 3 chemicals, 3 plastic parts, Level 1 medical lab. Bring a couple and stop losing extra minutes (and lives) to stamina management.

Final notes for the coin-chasers

Do not overload your pack with filler. Even if you do not see flashy purple drops like Lance's Mixtape every raid, stacks of blue and green items still add up and set you up for the next run. ARC Raiders is by Embark Studios and launched on October 30, 2025 — and yes, the meta is already leaning toward efficiency over heroics.

How are you farming Raider Coins? I am always up for a new route or a nasty shortcut I have not tried yet.
