Steven Spielberg’s secretive UFO film just broke cover, as a cryptic New York City billboard unveils the first look—and teases a possible title.

Steven Spielberg finally cracked open the mystery box on his UFO movie. Marketing just kicked off in New York with a cryptic billboard that might be our first look and maybe even the title. Here is what is actually on that thing and what it tells us about the film.

The billboard: first look, maybe the title

A new ad popped up in NYC showing what looks like a child’s eye turned upside down. The board also locks in a release date: June 12, 2026. And front and center is a phrase that feels like either a tagline or the whole title, depending on how bold they are feeling.

"all will be disclosed"

People flipped the image and, sure enough, it reads as a kid looking up—clever little visual trick that leans right into the UFO vibe. The billboard was spotted and shared on December 10, 2025 by ScreenTime on social media, and that seems to be the official start of the campaign.

The movie itself: who is making it and who is in it

Spielberg’s still-untitled UFO project is written by David Koepp (yes, the Jurassic Park writer), based on a story by Spielberg himself. It is produced by Spielberg and Kristie Macosko Krieger for Amblin Entertainment, along with Chris Brigham.

Where this sits in Spielberg’s run

This is Spielberg’s first sci-fi outing since Ready Player One in 2018. It is also his first directorial feature since The Fabelmans in 2022, the semi-autobiographical drama that went on to score seven Oscar nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress (Michelle Williams), and Best Supporting Actor (Judd Hirsch).

Release date

The billboard plants the flag: June 12, 2026. If that mysterious line is the title, expect to hear the words "all will be disclosed" a lot between now and then.
