As Predator: Badlands stalks into theaters, the big question is whether a post-credits surprise awaits—should you stay seated or make a run for it?

If you are planning to see Predator: Badlands and wondering whether to hang through the credits, here is the straight answer without the runaround.

Does Predator: Badlands have a mid- or post-credits scene?

Nope. There is no mid-credits scene and no post-credits scene. Early screenings have already confirmed it, so you do not have to camp out until the lights come up. And no, there is not a teaser that ties this to other Predator entries.

That will surprise some people, because this is Dan Trachtenberg’s third time in this universe after 2022’s Prey and 2025’s Predator: Killer of Killers. Given he is three-for-three on Predator projects, fans were hoping for a connective stinger. Not this time.

Release plan

Predator: Badlands gets a global theatrical release on November 7, 2025. That is a change of pace from Trachtenberg’s previous two, which both launched straight to streaming.

What the movie is actually about

This one flips the usual formula. The story follows Dek, an outcast Predator trying to claw back some honor by taking on a hunt on the alien planet Kalisk. He is not alone: Thia, a synthetic missing the lower half of her body, rides strapped to his back and has her own agenda. Together they trek across a hostile planet full of nasty wildlife, looking for the "ultimate adversary."

Cast-wise, Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi plays Dek, Elle Fanning is Thia, and Mike Homik shows up as Kwei, Dek’s brother. Details on Kwei are being kept quiet for now.

Bottom line: if you like a good stinger, I feel you, but this one does not have it. Once the credits start, you are free to beat the crowd.
