Spy x Family Star Hits Pause on Fan-Favorite Role After Voice Therapy
Dani Chambers bows out as the voice of Becky for the foreseeable future, leaving the role wide open.

What happened
Dani Chambers, the English voice of Becky, posted a statement on Twitter on October 18, 2025 saying she had a recent voice change and will be stepping back from Becky for now. She stressed it is temporary and she is in voice therapy to get back to her normal range. In the meantime, Becky — and any of Chambers' higher-pitched, kid-style roles — will be covered by a voice match, meaning another actor will mimic Chambers' established sound to keep the character consistent.
"This isn't permanent but when my voice comes back I can pop back in."
Brutal timing: her update landed just hours before the English dub of Spy x Family season 3 premiered on Crunchyroll.
Will Dani still be in the show?
Yes — Chambers says you may still hear her in other roles in the dub even while someone else covers Becky. Outside Spy x Family, you probably know her from the English dubs of Solo Leveling and Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, and from games like Pokemon Masters and Genshin Impact.
