Spy x Family Season 3 Release Calendar: When Every New Episode Drops

Mark your calendar: the Forgers’ next season is locked in—here’s when it drops and where to watch.
Spy x Family is back on the clock. If you have been hitting refresh on release calendars since 2022, same. Season 2 wrapped in December 2023, and Season 3 is finally rolling out. Here is the when, where, and what to expect so you do not get spoiled five minutes after an episode drops.
When and where to watch
Season 3 premiered Saturday, 4 October 2025. New episodes stream on Crunchyroll pretty much everywhere, and on Hulu in the US. In Japan, the show airs first on TV Tokyo and partner networks, then lands on Crunchyroll shortly after.
Weekly rollout time targets are 11:00 pm JST, which lines up to 7:00 am PT, 10:00 am ET, and 3:00 pm BST. As always with simulcasts, a few minutes of wiggle room can happen between broadcast and streaming.
Release schedule
The plan is the usual one-episode-a-week cadence on Saturdays. Here is the episode-by-episode date grid that has been shared for Season 3:
- Episode 1 - 4 October 2025
- Episode 2 - 11 October 2025
- Episode 3 - 18 October 2025
- Episode 4 - 25 October 2025
- Episode 5 - 4 October 2025
- Episode 6 - 1 November 2025
- Episode 7 - 8 November 2025
- Episode 8 - 15 November 2025
- Episode 9 - 22 November 2025
- Episode 10 - 29 November 2025
- Episode 11 - 6 December 2025
- Episode 12 - 13 December 2025
Yes, you are seeing that right: Episode 5 is listed as 4 October again. That is obviously a copy-paste hiccup. If the show simply runs every Saturday with no breaks, Episode 5 would logically fall on 1 November (and the rest would shift a week, putting a 12th episode on 20 December). If the dates above hold as-is, the finale lands 13 December. I will keep an eye on the official grid, but plan on Saturdays and you will be fine.
How many episodes this season?
Expect 12 episodes. That tracks with Season 2, and even the first cours of Season 1 topped out around that number. Season 1 ultimately ran two cours for 25 episodes total, but once a production moves to a single-cour season, it is rare to see studios bounce back to a two-cour run right away. Wit Studio and CloverWorks are again teaming up on the animation. If an official count ends up different, the calendar above will shift accordingly.
So what is Season 3 actually covering?
The tone is the same sweet spot the show lives in: slick spy action wrapped around a very chaotic family comedy. We are still following master spy Loid Forger and his pretend-wife Yor, an assassin, trying to raise telepathic gremlin angel Anya while Loid angles for an in with political bigwig Donovan Desmond to keep a war from breaking out.
Season 3 specifically pivots to Anya getting serious about school for once. She is gunning for more Stella Stars at Eden Academy and trying to strengthen things with Damian, which (in theory) helps Loid get closer to Donovan as part of Operation Strix. Manga readers will clock this as the show moving out of the WISE Arc and into the five-chapter Friendship Schemes Arc (chapters 64–68).
There is also a wrinkle at Eden: an older disciplinarian nicknamed for the dreaded Tonitrus Bolt shows up, and she loves handing out those demerits that can get kids expelled. Translation: Anya’s spot at school, and Loid’s plan, are both on a thinner thread than usual.
Where to stream it
Crunchyroll has Season 3 in the UK, US, and pretty much everywhere else it operates. US viewers can also watch on Hulu. Netflix carries Spy x Family, but newer seasons tend to hit there later. As of now, do not expect Season 3 on Disney+ or Amazon Prime Video via a standard subscription.
If you are just catching up, Spy x Family is streaming right now on Crunchyroll. New season, same delightful chaos. See you on Saturdays.
