Where to watch
No clearance required: Crunchyroll is the spot for Spy x Family Season 3 worldwide. Subbed episodes arrive the same day as Japan, while the English dub usually trails by a couple of weeks. New here? Crunchyroll also has Seasons 1 and 2 plus the movie Spy x Family Code: White, so you can catch up or rewatch the hits before the chaos resumes.
How many episodes are we getting?
There’s no official episode count yet. Based on precedent, expect 12 or 13. Season 1 was a two-cour split with 25 total episodes, Season 2 ran 12, and unless WIT Studio and CloverWorks decide to shake up the format, Season 3 should land in that same ballpark.
What Season 3 covers (spoilers from the manga)
Spoiler heads-up: I’m about to talk arcs and mission numbers.
We should open with the Friendship Schemes arc (Missions 64–68). Yor ends up with an unexpected new friend, Anya redoubles her very serious (and very funny) campaign to impress Damian at Eden, and the Forger household delivers the usual perfectly chaotic family energy.
Then things get real with Red Circus (Missions 69–78). On a school trip, Anya’s bus is hijacked by a terrorist group. Stakes are high, lives are on the line, and the show balances danger with its signature humor. Manga readers love this run for a reason; it’s one of the standout arcs.
If the pacing moves faster, we might also slide into Mole Hunt (Missions 79–81), where Loid and other Westalian agents chase down a traitor who’s stolen sensitive Operation Strix documents. That one plays like a straight-up spy thriller and feels like a launchpad for even bigger missions.
The official tease
The anime’s official account dropped fresh key art on August 31, confirming the Japan broadcast for Saturday, October 4 at 23:00 on the TV Tokyo network. The vibe of the promo: color, secrets, and the family we keep pretending isn’t terrifyingly competent.
"The Forgers are back."
The short version
Spy x Family Season 3 starts Saturday, October 4, 2025. New episodes roll out weekly through the fall. Watch on Crunchyroll (subs day-and-date; dub a little later). Expect Friendship Schemes and Red Circus, with a possible fast move into Mole Hunt if the pace picks up. Peanuts at the ready.
