20th Century Studios has locked in digital, 4K, and Blu-ray dates for Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere, the Jeremy Allen White-led Bruce Springsteen biopic that split critics but drew raves for his performance.

20th Century Studios finally put dates on Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere, the Bruce Springsteen biopic with Jeremy Allen White in the hot seat as the Boss. If you missed it in theaters, here is when you can actually watch it at home.

When and where you can watch it

The movie hits digital storefronts to rent or buy on December 23. The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray lands January 20, 2026. Yes, that is a long wait between digital and the disc.

What the movie covers

The film zeroes in on a very specific sliver of Springsteen lore: the 1982 making of Nebraska, back when he was on the edge of global fame and wrestling with his past while figuring out how to live with success. The album famously came together at home on a 4-track, stripped down and unvarnished, which tells you a lot about the tone Scott Cooper is going for here.

"A raw, haunted acoustic record populated by lost souls searching for a reason to believe."

How it has played with audiences and awards

Reviews have been mixed overall, but White’s performance has been the highlight. It already netted him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture - Drama. Meanwhile, on Rotten Tomatoes, the Popcornmeter (the audience score) sits at 82%.

Who made it and who is in it

Scott Cooper wrote and directed, adapting Warren Zanes' book of the same name. Jeremy Allen White plays Springsteen. Jeremy Strong co-stars as Jon Landau (Bruce’s longtime manager and trusted adviser), Paul Walter Hauser is guitar tech Mike Batlan, Stephen Graham is Bruce’s father Doug, Odessa Young plays Faye (a love interest), Gaby Hoffmann is his mom Adele, Marc Maron plays producer Chuck Plotkin, and David Krumholtz is Columbia executive Al Teller.

Producers are Scott Cooper, Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Eric Robinson, and Scott Stuber; executive producers are Tracey Landon, Jon F. Vein, and Warren Zanes.

Bonus features on the 4K disc

The physical release includes an exclusive four-part documentary, Making Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere:

  • Act 1: From Book to Screen — how Warren Zanes' moving book became a film and why this chapter of Springsteen’s life was the one to tell.
