Eleven has grown up and is now a dragon fighter.

It may be hard to believe, but the adorable little Eleven from Stranger Things isn't so little anymore. More than seven years have passed since the first season premiered in 2016, and the child actors are all grown up now, including Millie Bobby Brown.

These days, the 19-year-old is making headlines with her engagement to Jake Bongiovi and is taking a break from acting as a member of SAG-AFTRA. However, once the Hollywood strikes end, the actress will have her plate full.

Here's What's Next For Millie Bobby Brown Career-Wise

As soon as the strikes end, the actress will participate in the filming of the eagerly anticipated fifth and final season of Stranger Things. Unfortunately, it will mark her final appearance on the set of our cherished series. But fans need not despair; there are other exciting projects lined up for Millie Bobby Brown.

One of them is actually already ready for release. The new fantasy movie Damsel, directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo and penned by Dan Mazeau, completed filming last summer and was initially set for an October release on Netflix. The premiere, however, was postponed due to the SAG-AFTRA members' inability to promote it. A new release date is still pending.

The Plot Of Damsel Sounds Exciting

Damsel offers a unique twist on a classic fairy tale. Millie Bobby Brown portrays Elodie, a young woman who enters into an arranged marriage with the dashing Prince Henry. She soon discovers that her new in-laws, the royal family, orchestrated the nuptials for a singular reason: to offer her as a sacrifice to a dragon to set an age-old debt.

Within the dragon's lair, Elodie realises that the typical damsel-in-distress demeanour won't help her in this predicament. With no rescuer on the horizon, she must depend entirely on her resourcefulness and determination to survive.

‘This does look like something that I'd watch since it's caught my eye,’ a fan commented on the project, echoing the sentiment of many.

In Damsel, which marks the actress's third big collaboration with Netflix following Stranger Things and the Enola Holmes series, Brown will be accompanied by a star-studded ensemble, including Angela Bassett, Robin Wright, and Ray Winstone. It's undoubtedly a project to keep an eye out for.
