Skip the Hidden Bunker: The Fastest Way to Get the Vulcano Blueprint in ARC Raiders
Vulcano is the shotgun to beat in ARC Raiders — and you don’t have to grind Hidden Bunker blueprints to get it. There’s a faster route to add this semi-auto powerhouse to your loadout.
If you have been eyeing the Vulcano in ARC Raiders, you are not wrong. It is one of the nastiest shotguns in the game. The annoying part is getting the blueprint so you can actually craft it. Most people grind Hidden Bunker events for that. Fair enough. But there is a cleaner route that does not require finishing the Bunker run at all, and it lives at Spaceport.
The catch before you sprint off
The Vulcano blueprint can only appear when the Hidden Bunker event is active on Spaceport. That timing matters. But here is the key detail a lot of players miss: you do not need to complete the Bunker or even go inside it to snag the blueprint. You just need the event active on that map rotation. Where to look when Spaceport has Hidden Bunker active
- Spaceport Control Tower — Head for the Control Tower room. You will need the Spaceport Control Tower Key to get in. Once you are inside, loot every container you can find. Those boxes have a high chance to spawn the Vulcano blueprint during the event.
- Breach and loot hot zones — If you are already farming Spaceport, hit the areas that tend to roll higher-value drops and crack everything open. The blueprint drop rate here is medium to low, but it is still a real shot while you are sweeping for gear.
Is the Vulcano worth the hassle?
Short answer: yes. Long answer: it hits a sweet spot for close-range bullying. The Vulcano is a semi-auto shotgun with weak armor penetration and a steep damage falloff at distance, so it is not your cross-map solution. But up close, the pellet spread is so tight it basically behaves like a single, heavy shot. That makes it punchy and consistent when you are pushing an ARC or dueling another Raider in tight spaces.
On paper, it clocks 49.5 damage per shot, which is lower than the Toro. In practice, the Vulcano usually wins out because it fires faster and packs a six-round magazine. Recoil is there, but it is manageable once you get into a rhythm.
Upgrades that make it sing
If you commit to the Vulcano, it scales well. You can boost its fire rate, cut down the reload time, and even bump the mag size if you want to stay on target longer between reloads. Stack those upgrades and it starts deleting things at close range with embarrassing efficiency.
Bottom line: if Spaceport is showing Hidden Bunker, make a quick run to the Control Tower and start opening containers. You do not need to clear the event to walk away with the blueprint, and the payoff is absolutely worth the detour.
