Shadow & Bone Star Daisy Head Comes From a Very Famous Family

While it's not uncommon for a celebrity to come from a famous background, people still get excited every time they learn that their favorite star has a celeb parent, sibling, or spouse.
This is just the case with Daisy Head, who happens to have not one, not two, but in fact three of her close family members with extensive TV experience!
Daisy Head recurrently appears in the first season of Shadow and Bone and makes her way to being a main character in Season 2. She portrays the only known Grisha tailor by the name Genya Safin, a friend of the hit show's main heroine Alina Starkov. However, this isn't not the first big role for the actress — prior to starring in Shadow and Bone, Head played leading roles on BBC One's The Syndicate (2015) and Harlots (2019), in addition to numerous appearances on TV.
Given her huge talent and extensive acting career at 32, you shouldn't be surprised to learn that Daisy Head comes from an acting background. Her father Anthony Head is a famous actor himself. You may know him from such movies as The Iron Lady (2011), Perry Jackson: Sea of Monsters (2013), and Batman: Gotham by Gaslight (2018), let alone his iconic roles of Rupert Giles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Uther Pendragon in Merlin.
Since Daisy has such a famous actor father, it seems she couldn't but choose acting as her career.
Neither could the Netflix show star's older sister, Emily Head. She is the ultimate star of ITV's soap opera Emmerdale, with a 280 episode count, and The Inbetweeners franchise. Emily has also appeared on The Syndicate, though in a season different from her younger sister's.
While Daisy's mother isn't an actress, she has some TV experience up her sleeve as well — Sarah Fisher is a famous animal behaviorist who can boast numerous appearances on various TV shows.
As for a spouse, Daisy Head doesn't yet have one, but considering how much time she spends on set, it's very likely she will one day bond with a fellow actor.
Since her appearance in Shadow and Bone, Daisy's career has indeed skyrocketed — the actress played in the movie Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves and Netflix's The Sandman, augmenting the Head family fame.
