Where Season 3 has gone so far

The season opened with 'Blood and Bourbon,' which was exactly what it sounds like: Dwight juggling heat from law enforcement and pressure from rival crews while trying to lock down a distillery deal. It is the show in a nutshell - part crime drama, part dark comedy, part bruising action - with Dwight playing chess while everyone else swings for checkers. A lot of the tension comes from his old-school New York mafia rules colliding with Tulsa's scrappier underground scene. That culture clash is the fun of it.

Who is in the mix

Quick refresher on the premise

Dwight 'The General' Manfredi gets out of prison after 25 years and is immediately shipped off by his boss to set up shop in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He figures out fast that his old crew may not actually have his back, so he starts building a new operation from the local oddballs and strivers available. It is a fish-out-of-water crime story: a veteran capo trying to build an empire in a place that might as well be another planet to him.
