Roblox Raise Animals: Every Animal and the Fastest Ways to Get Them
From a single buffalo to a bustling barnyard, Raise Animals on Roblox lets you capture, buy, feed, and care for dozens of creatures. But what’s the smartest way to turn that first animal into a thriving farm?
Roblox Raise Animals starts you on a humble buffalo and dares you to turn that into a full-blown menagerie. As of right now, there are 45 animals in the game, each with its own stats, habitat, rarity, and sometimes surprisingly nasty abilities. Some are straightforward, some are seasonal oddities, and a few have names that look like someone mashed the keyboard on purpose. Below is the complete roster and what each one actually does.

How the farm actually works (and why feeding matters)
Each animal you place on your farm generates cash you can turn around and spend on food at the NPC. Placement matters if you are juggling a lot of mouths, because the hunger meter drains fast. Starving animals do not perform as well — their passives are noticeably less effective — so if you want steady progress instead of frustration, keep everyone fed.
How to unlock animals: catch or buy
There are only two ways in right now. If you want to catch them, hit the Play button on the left side of the screen, pick your ride (you start with the default buffalo), and you will get dropped into a forest run with animals sprinting alongside you. When something you want gets close, jump and press E to mount. A heart icon appears — let it fill, and the animal is yours. Do not clip another animal or slam into an obstacle during this; a crash is instant death and you will be restarting.
If you would rather skip the rodeo, find the merchant by the food stall. They sell any animal you have successfully mounted before. Pay the listed price and you can place it straight onto your farm.
Weird names, seasonal spooks, and a lot of surprisingly mean passives — Raise Animals is not shy about chaos. What is your go-to animal right now?
