RHOA Fans All Saying the Same Thing About Kroy After Kim Zolciak Files for Divorce

It seems that divorces have become a staple for the cast of The Real Housewives franchise, with at least three couples calling it quits in the past four months. The latest announcement came from Kim Zolciak, who filed for divorce from Kroy Biermann, her husband of 11 years, in early May.

And it looks like most fans of the reality series are siding with Kim's ex!

This Monday, it was revealed that The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Don't Be Tardy star Kim Zolciak and her husband Kroy Biermann, a former NFL player, have filed for divorce. Initially, several outlets reported that Kim filed her papers first — and fans were not surprised, thinking that the star is set to leave her husband because of the financial problems the family has been facing lately.

Needless to say, people were outraged with Kim.

'This guy stood up for her and her crazy antics for years and was her bodyguard, chauffeur, assistant, etc. He went along with all her bad financial decisions and used his NFL earnings (aka retirement) towards it, and then when the chips are down, and they have nothing, she divorces him?' one of the fans wrote on Reddit.

Some people also recalled that, in the early seasons of RHOA, Kim had a 'big poppa' — real estate manager Lee Najjar. The star openly called herself a gold digger in that relationship, and it's unlikely that her attitude towards romantic partners has changed since then, so her split from the nearly bankrupt Kroy was somewhat expected.

However, as it later turned out, it was actually Kroy himself who initiated the divorce from Kim — but fans were not surprised by this news either.

'That man seemed to do SO MUCH for Kim and their children together + her daughters,' another fan said. 'Always got the vibes that he wanted a more simple life but she wanted more, more, more.'

Indeed, Kroy seems to be a loving father to the four children born from his marriage to Kim as well as her two older daughters. However, it looks like the couple's relationship has been rather toxic, as Kim forced her husband to stop communicating with his relatives in Montana, and then her attitude to their financial situation must have been the final straw to ruin their marriage forever.

Overall, it is no wonder Kroy couldn't put up with Kim's behavior anymore. He is now trying to get sole custody of their minor children, and many people wish him luck in court.
