The legendary Big Bang Theory started off back in 2007 as a show about nerdy flatmates Sheldon Cooper and Leonard Hofstadter and their neighbor Penny.

Sheldon Calls The Police (season four, episode 19)
Someone hacks Sheldon’s World of Warcraft account, and all his 85 levels of achievements and gold earnings get stolen. Cooper doesn’t find a better solution than to call the local police and report the robbery.
When confronted by Leonard for disturbing the police, Sheldon says calling them was his only option since the FBI had hung up on him.
Starfleet Academy Graduate Cum Laude (season four, episode 21)
Raj’s younger sister and Leonard’s new girlfriend Priya denounces the Roommate Agreement using her knowledge of law that she received in Cambridge.
Sheldon acknowledges her superiority in legal questions but boasts that, unlike her, he is an honorary graduate of Starfleet Academy.
Mars Colonization Application (season eight, episode 17)
Sheldon records a video application where he tells why he should be chosen to be sent on a mission to Mars. He comes off as socially inept and arrogant, showing off how smart he is, making ridiculous puns about his brother, bragging about his excessive cleanliness — and, to top it all off, unexpectedly throwing a cake in Leonard’s face.
Leonard Nimoy’s DNA (season two, episode 11)
Sheldon is a huge Star Trek fan. In one of the show’s Christmas episodes, he receives a gift from Penny — a napkin signed by Leonard Nimoy, who played his favorite character Spock.
Cooper cannot contain his excitement and is over the moon when he learns that there are traces of Nimoy’s DNA on the napkin, dreaming of cloning his idol.
Sheldon Cares About Leonard (season six, episode two)
Throughout most of the show, Penny and Leonard are in an on-and-off relationship. At one point in season six, Sheldon learns that Penny is going to break up with Leonard, and this news keeps him up at night.
In the early morning hours, he goes to Penny’s bedroom and wakes her up to advocate for Leonard, highlighting all the great qualities he has to continue being Penny’s boyfriend. In the end, Cooper asks Penny not to hurt his best friend, making this one of the sweetest Sheldon moments on the show.
